The Abilene Animal Shelter is asking for donations + volunteer help after a winter weather surge increased animal intakes; community members can support the shelter by reaching out to learn how they can help.

Hendrick Home for Children in Abilene received a $50,000 donation from H-E-B’s Tournament of Champions Charitable Trust to upgrade technology at its Family Care and Basic Care facilities.

The funds will equip six locations with new computers + printers serving over 60 children and 24 single parents.
