  • The Texas Farm, Ranch and Wildlife Expo returns for its 26th year on Feb. 19 and 20 at the Taylor Telecom Arena. The event will feature over 200 agribusiness vendors, live demos, panels, and continuing education from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office, and admission is free.  KTXS

  • A Fortune report from last month shows many college students are struggling with basic reading; an ACU English professor said social media + ChatGPT might be contributing to the problem, and his department offers support for students who need help.  KTXS

HEALTH NEWS

  • Abilene’s Environmental Health Division inspected local restaurants from Feb. 9–13 and found scores ranging from a perfect score at Dollar General + ratings as low as 79 at Little Ninja, with issues like improper food temperature and sanitation being corrected on site.  Abilene Reporter News
