  • Homeschool families in Abilene and across the Big Country are exploring the new Texas Education Freedom Account program, which offers state funding for tuition, curriculum and extracurricular costs. Applications close Tuesday, Mar. 17 as early interest grows statewide.  KTXS

  • Abilene Regional Airport is serving as a base for wildfire tanker aircraft to help contain the active Texas wildfires + local officials are monitoring fire conditions to protect the area.  FOX West Texas
