The National Weather Service hosts Skywarn training at ACU's Hart Auditorium at 9 a.m. Saturday, Abilene Gun and Blade Show starts at Taylor County Expo Center at 9 a.m. Saturday, and Monster X Tour will thrill fans at Taylor Telecom Arena. - ➤ Crews completed major structural repairs and are adding final touch-ups on the Abilene State Park pool, which has been closed since 2022. The park expects to finish work today and plans mechanical updates before a summer reopening. KTXS

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents gathered in Tuscola Wednesday to learn legal options for intervening in a proposed 765-kV transmission line project (proposed by Oncor Electric Delivery Company). Affected landowners have until March 23 to submit comments as the Public Utility Commission of Texas reviews potential routes. KTXS
