- ➤ Outlaws and Legends will celebrate its 15th anniversary + music festival from March 20-21 at The Back Porch of Texas, 3350 N. Clack St. in Abilene. The event will feature an iconic lineup including singer-songwriter Mark Powell. KTXS
- ➤ Barrel racer Angela Ganter (an Abilene native) turned her battle with stage 4 breast cancer into a film about overcoming odds and valuing family. Outriding the Devil will premiere on Sunday, March 15 at the Paramount Theatre in Texas. KTXS

- ➤ Abilene ISD junior Ruby Rose Fields, who trained at Freeman Jet Center, was accepted among 6,000 applicants to the Air Force Aim High Flight Academy. She plans to pursue a military career and study through the ROTC program at a local university after graduation. KTXS
