Punk, one of the original giraffes at the Abilene Zoo, was euthanized Wednesday after a six‐month decline in mobility (age‐related issues reduced her quality of life).

Born November 27th at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, she spent 25 years at the zoo and connected with many visitors.
