- ➤ The Abilene Preservation League recently held a community meeting at 633 S 11th St. to gather input on restoring the 1930s Abilene Courts; ideas like flea markets + food truck areas were suggested, and a grant proposal is now in its final round to fund design work. KTXS
- ➤ The League of Trucks event, sponsored by the Junior League of Abilene, took place Saturday, Apr. 25 in Shotwell Stadium north parking lot, where kids could touch, climb on, and honk working trucks while families enjoyed hands-on displays at the free, local gathering. Abilene Reporter News
