All Kind Animal Initiative will join the final Abilene Gives event tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The fundraiser usually nets between $60,000 and $100,000 for pet care programs, and the group plans a similar in-house drive next year.

Cooper High School held its prom on May 2 at the 201 Mesquite Event Center where students danced and enjoyed casino-style games for chips+ the event gave teens a memorable night of festivities.
