- ➤ The city of Abilene said it will not pay the ransom demanded by a Russian hacking group that stole 477 gigabytes of data using phishing—community members worry that the released information may soon lead to scams and financial troubles. KTXS
- ➤ Tye volunteer firefighter Stephanie Elmore was hospitalized in March after a car hit her while she responded to a semi-truck fire on I-20 near mile marker 277—20-year-old Nathan Newlin was arrested on charges including reckless driving and aggravated assault, and she will soon share her recovery journey.
