Today is the deadline for a cyber attack ransom from the alleged group Qilin— the City of Abilene said it will not pay while cybersecurity experts monitor the potential impact of the 477 gigabytes of stolen data.

Abilene ISD is offering free breakfast and lunch for students 18 and under during its summer meal program that runs from June 2 until July 14 at several community sites + families can call 211 for meal menus and times, and no meals will be served on June 19 or July 4.
