- ➤ Clyde police are asking the community for help finding victims of suspected thief Ethan Maddox, an 18-year-old from Clyde who is believed to have stolen a tan or brown 1989 Ford F250 from a 95-year-old resident and is accused in theft cases in other states (he is held in Taylor County Jail). - ➤ Abilene ISD announced on Wednesday that Amanda Seymour was named the new choir director at Cooper High School—she brings over ten years of vocal music education experience and led a growing program at Brenham ISD. - ➤ Early voting for the Place 5 City Council runoff began May 27th and will continue until June 3rd; voters will cast ballots on June 7th. In the initial election, neither candidate received a majority—forcing incumbent Kyle McAlister and Miguel Espinoza to face off in the runoff. KTXS
