- ➤ A parent in Baird is reviving local youth sports with a new program starting this fall that offers cheerleading, flag football, basketball, baseball, and softball for kids from Pre-K to 6th grade. Organizer Jeremy Kirk said practices and games will be held at Baird ISD and Bell Park—20 kids have signed up for cheer and 44 for flag football so far. KTXS
