- ➤ Steve Van Horne, an Abilene man, was arrested on April 14 for driving without a valid license and using a fake plate, and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission is suing him for running an unlicensed daycare at 588 Ambler Ave—state inspectors reported he refused to let them enter while he drove children from another location.
