- ➤ An 18-year-old man from Tye died in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday—he was not wearing a seatbelt—while Texas DPS stressed that buckling up increases survival odds even though no seatbelt can guarantee safety. KTXS
- ➤ A garage apartment on the 1100 block of Hickory St in Abilene was destroyed by a fire Saturday at 7:20 a.m.+ firefighters put out the flames and then demolished the unsafe building with damage estimated at $30,000. KTXS

- ➤ The Abilene Police Department raided CBD House of Healing over the weekend for illegal narcotics sales and temporarily closed the store while its investigation continues—no arrests have been made. KTXS
- ➤ Abilene police arrested 40-year-old Cody Wray Isenberg after he fled a robbery at a business on the 3400 block of South 14th Street and later demanded cash from a nearby bank—he was taken into custody by a patrol officer already in the area on Monday afternoon. KTXS
