ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Twenty five years ago today around 5 p.m., a bulldozer ruptured an Exxon Mobile natural gas line just south of Abilene Airport on Highway 36, triggering an explosion that injured Detective Jay Hatcher, who suffered severe burns and died the next day as a house was destroyed and residents were evacuated.
