- ➤ Abilene Regional Airport remains fully staffed during the eight-day government shutdown — while other airports face long delays due to low staffing. Transportation Services Director Don Green praised the hard work of TSA and FAA partners and hopes the shutdown ends soon. KTXS
- ➤ Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller said that a deadly screwworm case in a cow in Montemorelos, Mexico has prompted urgent actions to protect local cattle and rural jobs.
