At Wylie East Intermediate School in Abilene, a Veterans Day parade honored veterans and gave children the chance to thank local heroes, including Air Force veterans Steven Cooper and Jeff Anders.

Cooper and Anders shared their military stories—explaining how service guided their lives and underscored the importance of remembering our veterans.

On Tuesday night, many Texans saw the Northern Lights in their backyards when a powerful G4 solar storm pushed the auroras south—making them visible in West Texas.
