Abilene ISD Superintendent Dr. John Kuhn announced that Leslye Roberts, a seasoned educator with 18 years in Texas public schools, will be the new principal of Martinez Elementary effective Dec.
1. Roberts currently leads Taylor Elementary and will move into her new role as Taylor’s interim principal, Shanda Bourn, takes charge there + she plans to build a strong learning environment at Martinez.
