Major Abilene retailers will open early today on Black Friday—Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Tractor Supply Co. will open at 6 a.m. while TJ Maxx and Sam’s Club start at 7 a.m., and the Mall of Abilene will operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.—to welcome early shoppers after Thanksgiving.
On Thanksgiving Day, several Abilene restaurants—including national chains like Denny’s, IHOP, and Cracker Barrel as well as local spots such as Circa 1880—opened with varied hours, and diners were advised to call ahead to confirm service times and make reservations where needed.
