After a local story about Peggy Dodson’s teddy bear charity aired, the community donated extra bears to replace the ones stolen — Pierce Furniture Gallery led the effort with a donation box.

Dodson said she will give the bears to children in need this holiday season.

Abilene Better Business Bureau announced that John Riggins will retire on Dec.
