Blossoms & Beads Wire Rings (Main Library)

About this event

Come to your library to explore the beauty and history behind Native North and Central American jewelry design during this adult-level workshop. Discover the history used in Native American jewelry, learn about native flower species, speak a few words in Nahuatl (Aztec) and Dine (Navajo), and try several wire-wrapped ring designs using turquoise and coral. This workshop is designed for adults and involves using hand tools, several of which have sharp edges.
